View this Collection

Nature's Jewels - Unique Jewelry created by the Artist - Bark used mostly from Birch, Oak and Sycamore trees.  Carefully selected for the interesting features with additions of nature such as lichens to provide the extra texture and color of the designs.

The bark is cleaned, disinfected, pressed and coated with an acrylic polymer sealing the wood, giving it durability.  Each piece is designed individually by the artist with enhancement of Scrimshaw on antique ivory or Mother-of-Pearl with beads, crystals, vintgage jewelry pieces and gold-filled, sterling silver or copper wire.

Wildlife Painted on Pressed Leaf
View this Collection

I have always known that nature was a great subject to paint, now I have found that the trees of the area provide the perfect canvas for my paintings.  Pressed and treated in my "Special" way and surrounded with all acid-free materials these paintings will last many, many years.
They are a "One of a Kind" item and extremely popular with collectors.  Each is numbered as they were painted.  Available matted or matted and framed
8 x 10                    10 x 10                  11 x 14

Scrimshaw Jewelry - A true American Art
View this Collection

Hand Etched Scrimshaw - Scrimshaw is an art of etching designs on ivory or many other surfaces.

Scrimshaw began with the Eskimos of North America and was developed further by the old Whalers.  The whalers would scrib designs on their tall ships and whaling scenes on whales teeth using sailing needles and knives.

Scrimshaw is a true American Art.

My Scrimshaw is hand etched on antique ivory, imitation ivory, mother-of-pearl and horn.

The scrim jewelry pieces are hard to keep listed on here as they do sell well at the shows for me.  If you see any you like just email me and I can work one that is similar.
