The Magic of Christmas is in the air
The Holiday's are almost here.

You can hear the jingle bells and feel the snow flakes on your cheek as you view the Father Christmas painting and prints.

I love Christmas and  Santa Claus and the joys of the season.

It is the time of year that my art shows are beginning.  The organizing, pricing, packing, booth set-ups and concerns for sales have begun.

As we all know there is worry, stress and all else that goes along with the work.

Has anyone any experence at the show the first on 2009 in the eastern part of the US and how sales are so far this year?  If so, please write.

Copper Craving Jewelry

by Lois C Armstrong on 5/18/2009 9:43:50 AM
Comment on this

Copper Craving is just an introduction of my interest in Copper wire wrap jewelry.  It is one of my favorite material for making interesting jewelry.   The color of copper new and after it develops a
patina are both beautiful.

If any one out there has any ideals or interest of this subject I would like to hear from you.

I understand the medical research is making some test on copper as germs will not live on the metal.  Any info?

Hummingbirds in Spring

Hummingbirds in Spring
Yesterday I placed our Hummingbird feeder out on the deck.  We are waiting to see the first arrivals of spring.  These little colorful bird are a pleasure to watch as they buzz around and feed.

Our winter in Tennessee has been especially cold and windy this year so the spring warmth feels great.

Birds in their natural habitat have always been a favorite subject paint.  Is always difficult to catch the fluttering of the wings of the Hummingbird in a painting.
